The Christian Churches of Kuna is a fellowship of Christian Bible-believing, Bible-teaching churches in the Kuna area that have a heart for the Lord and have a burden for the people of our town.  We have set aside what small doctrinal differences we may have to achieve two common goals- minister to the people of Kuna, and, as the Apostle Paul said so well in 1 Corinthians 9:22- "I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some."  If by the leading of the Holy Spirit and through our efforts we are able to present the gospel to people who are ready to respond to the gift of eternal life and lead them to salvation, we have been truly successful.

                   What have we already done?

COMMUNITY OUTREACH CHRISTMAS STORE

On Saturday, December 12, 2009, we served approx. 50 Kuna families with free new or nearly new gifts for them to give to family members.  We were amazed at the abundance of gifts supplied by our community.  The Lord really helped make Christmas possible for many needy families!

COMMUNITY DINNER #4

On Sunday, August 30, 2009, we had our fourth free Community Dinner, which was our third in the park in downtown Kuna.  It was as big a success as the first three dinners.  As before, local merchants provided most of the food free of charge.  Volunteers from three different local churches participated as servers, and between 70 & 100 people from our community were fed.  To God be the glory!

COMMUNITY DINNER #3

On Sunday, July 26, 2009, we had our third free Community Dinner, which was our second in the park in downtown Kuna.  It was as big a success as the first two dinners.  Local merchants provided most of the food free of charge.  Volunteers from three different local churches participated as servers, and between 80 & 100 people from our community were fed!  The Lord continues to offer us opportunities for ministry.  He was glorified!

COMMUNITY DINNER #2

On Sunday, June 28, 2009, we had our second free Community Dinner, but it was our first in the park in downtown Kuna.  It was an even bigger success than the first dinner.  Local merchants provided most of the food free of charge.  Volunteers from three different local churches participated as servers, and between 80 & 100 people from our community were fed!  The Lord dramatically increased our opportunities for ministry.  Praise His name!

We're really excited about next month's dinner, also in the park!

On Saturday, June 13, 2009, we participated in a southern Idaho tradition, "Paint the Town."  We were assigned a home to paint in Kuna, owned by Donna Nelson.  Several volunteers worked for hours on the project, using rollers, brushes, and an airless sprayer.  The Lord allowed the brown paint to last until we were finished painting the underside of the rear patio cover, which wasn't in the original plan.  But best of all, He delayed the heavy rains predicted by the weathermen until hours after we were finished!

COMMUNITY DINNER #1

On Sunday, May 31, 2009, we had our first free Community Dinner in the Community Hall in downtown Kuna.  It was a big success.  Paul's Market and Great Harvest Bread provided the food.  Volunteers from three different local churches participated as servers, and over 30 people from our community were fed.
