Discipleship Groups - Small group ministry

The mission of the discipleship small group ministry is to provide an opportunity to do life together outside of a structured church service. This is accomplished through gathering together in small groups throughout the week to foster an environment of fellowship and community. These group are relationally centered where meaningful spiritual conversations occur, where corporate worship takes place, and where each believer ministers to one another, while encouraging spiritual growth.

Below are the discipleship groups for our
10-week Spring 2024
 session

Groups start meeting the week of March 31st.

Groups finish meeting the week of June 2nd.

Registration is open!

Co-Ed Bible Study
through Daniel

Description: The book of Daniel has been described as "the greatest book in the Bible on godless kingdoms and the kingdom of God." The godless kingdom referred to here are the Gentile nations, and the Kingdom of God is the millennial reign centered about Israel. Daniel is a relatively short book, but compacted into its pages are multitudes of fascinating prophecies and basic doctrine which will challenge the reader to learn the contents and grow in their understanding of God's plan for redemption. Join us as we study Chapters 1-6 during the spring Bible study session. There is no fee associated with this study.

When: Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm

Leader: Isaac Skelton
Host: Calvary Chapel Kuna

Men's Bible Study

Description: Men, the person of Jesus Christ is the key to all history, its grand miracle, and humankind's only hope. Who is Jesus, and what did He do while on earth to make all history revolve around Him? That is what we will seek to understand as we continue our “through the Bible series” each week. This session we seek to answer those questions as we study through the book of Matthew together. There is no fee associated with this study.

When: Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm

Leader: Larry Walsh & Pete Hamilton

Co-Ed sermon based small group

Description: This co-ed study is designed to help people deepen their knowledge and understanding of the scriptures while learning how to apply what we learned through the Sunday morning text to our every day life. Questions based off of the Sunday morning sermon will be provided before the message is taught, allowing you time to learn on Sunday and continue your study throughout the week. When you show up to your small group, you will have time to discuss what you have learned and how you can apply the concepts in your own life. There is no fee associated with this study.

The cost for the book will be $10 per person, which includes all of the material needed to participate.

Co-Ed Topical Study
on Prayer

Description: This co-ed study is for those who would like to look at the topic of prayer and what makes this one of the most important spiritual disciplines in the life of an individual who follows Jesus as well as the body of Christ at large. It is easy to read a book on prayer and walk away unchanged but we will seek to learn personal application along with recognizing that prayer is the most powerful weapon in our spiritual arsenal. Each week we will build upon the principles of prayer and seek to grow in this spiritual disciple individually as well as corporately. The cost for the book will be $10 per person, which includes all of the material needed to participate.
